Dr. Polyák Orsolya

Meet the PureDental team Dr. Orsolya Polyák, one of our aesthetic dentists, who welcomes our patients in a modern environment in Budapest.

Since childhood I have been interested in the structure and functioning of the human body, both on a physical and psychological level. When I chose my career, I was drawn towards dentistry, as I was sure that I wanted to choose a manual profession. The human mouth is a very intimate and tiny work area, so my job requires a lot of humility, discipline and precision. I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Szeged in 2010 and since then I have been a regular attendee of various professional training courses. My strengths include conservative dentistry and prosthodontics, i.e. the preparation of aesthetically outstanding, functionally correct fillings, tooth replacements (crowns, shells), and the treatment of teeth in need of root canal therapy.

My goal is to create a natural, harmonious smile, with a focus on pink aesthetics, i.e. healthy gums. I love this part of dentistry because it encourages continuous improvement and the diversity of cases and needs means that every problem is a new experience of success.

Whatever the treatment, the first and most important thing for me is to allay any fears and anxiety about the dental chair, to provide full information and answer any questions that may arise. After the relaxed atmosphere has been created, the treatment and cure of the teeth can only take place. After and during the necessary therapies, I consider it essential to learn correct oral hygiene according to individual needs, to discuss the causes of dental and oral diseases, in order to maintain the cured, aesthetic state achieved.
